Beginner and Advanced Drone Pilot Training
The UAS Center at SBD offers training to agencies, organizations and companies. As an example, the Center offers drone training and compliance programs to several of the San Bernardino County's 42 departments and agencies, including Fire, Sheriffs/SWAT/SAR, Multimedia Services, Public Works and others.
For San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, responsible for the administration of 33 schools districts, the Center provides a variety of ongoing drone training programs through SBCSS' Regional Occupation Program (ROP), supporting regional workforce development focused on adults looking to reskill, as well as high school and postsecondary students.

Tactical Training for Search & Rescue (SAR)
The Center provides specialized training on the use of drones for SAR, integrating the latest drone technology coupled with advanced tactical hands-on instruction.

Federal Agency Emergency Response Drone Pilot Training
The Center provides personalized drone pilot training to individual employees of selected emergency response-related federal agencies, including but not limited to those within the US Department of Agriculture and US Department of Interior, to support compliance with FAA certification regulations.
